Photovoltaic array on line

A 16.38 KW photovoltaic array on the roof of the salt storage building at the DPW came on line January 11. The $96,170 project was paid for in part by $49,011 of Clean Energy Choice funds with the remainder from a capital appropriation made at last year’s annual town meeting. The system is expected to produce approximately 18,000 KWH per year or approximately 31% of the DPW’s annual power requirement. View the system’s power production on line here.
