Nomination papers available

Nomination papers for local offices are available. The following offices will be on the May 11 ballot: Moderator, Board of Selectmen, Elementary School Committee, Library Trustees, Housing Authority, NBVRSD (McCann) School Committee, and Planning Board. Governor Patrick signed Chapter 13 of the Acts of 2010 expanding the Library Board of Trustees to seven members on January 21, thus putting five (5) seats on the May ballot. The deadline to submit nomination papers is Tuesday, March 23. The deadline for voter petition and warrant articles is Monday, March 29.
