Open burning season

Open burning season for brush only in Massachusetts is January 15 to April 30 each year. The required permit must be obtained by calling Forest Fire Warden Rick Daniels between 8:00 a.m. and 12 noon every day at 458-5695. Your fire must start between 10:00 a.m. and 12 noon and must be out by 4:00 p.m.
