Fire District annual meeting Tuesday

The Williamstown Fire District will hold its annual election and annual meeting on Tuesday, May 22, at the Fire Station on Water Street. Link to the warrant here. Polls for the election of the Prudential Committee, Clerk/Treasurer, and Moderator will be open from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The annual meeting to consider the District budget and other warrant articles will follow at 8:00 p.m. The Fire District is an independent government body with its own governance, budget, and taxing authority separate from the Town of Williamstown. All Williamstown registered voters are eligible to cast ballots and vote on the warrant.
