As of January 11, 2011 the Massachusetts Stretch Energy Code is in force in the Town of Williamstown. The Stretch Energy Code is comprised of the 2009 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) and Massachusetts amendments.

There is a copy of the IECC available for reference in the Department of Inspection Services office from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Massachusetts amendments are available online at the Board of Building Regulations and Standards website and also from the State Bookstore website.
