The Transfer Station at 675 Simonds Road is open Tuesday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Closed Sunday, Monday, and holidays.

The Transfer Station is open to Williamstown residents only. Vehicles must bear a Transfer Station sticker and waste must be in approved transparent bags.

Vehicle stickers are $75 per year or $8 per month. Stickers for additional vehicles in the same household may be purchased only at the same time as the first sticker for $5 each.

Bags are $2.50 each for thirty-three gallon capacity and $1.25 each for thirteen gallon capacity.

Stickers and bags may be purchased at the Treasurer’s office in the Municipal Building. Bags are also available at Wild Oats Market on Main Street and Stop & Shop in North Adams.

Paint and Household Hazardous Waste can be disposed of on specific collection days which are announced throughout the year.
